Had the Sunday carvery here today. Superb meal. Lovely vegetable soup, salad selection, full carvery with generous amounts of meat, good selection of desserts and finished up with coffee in the garden. Staff efficient as always and gave us plenty of time between courses so we didn't feel rushed. Would definitely recommend if you want that special occasion.
Very nice clean nice staff Everything you need close to sea front close to town centre lovely )

What a fantastic venue Simon, the guv, who was so attentive & helpful guided each of the four us who were looking forward to a great night out. We were not disappointed; what a fabulously varied menue one the best meals in UK and abroad i certainly have experienced. Friendly staff to help things along oodles of cocktails we were well fed even turned down desert as we were so full. Excellent Simon & your crew
Nice cozy brittish hotel. Bar and restaurant in the hotel. Great breakfast. Shops very close by. Beach is just a stone throw away. The keys are the classic old type that you leave at the reception. The doors have no doorhandles...its tricky in the beginning. Wifi had very mixed coverage. Some rooms had excellent signals, and some had poor at best.

Nice hotel with helpful friendly staff. We were with a group on B&B and evening meal basis and both were excellent. Rooms could benefit with Aircon in this hot weather but staff provided fans.
The room had no air conditioning. It was like sleeping in a sauna even with both windows open. The temperature outside was not too hot but there was no air circulation. Breakfast was good and the hotel is 50 meters from the pebble beach.

Was expecting microwaved pub grub, but was pleasantly surprised. Food was really good! Steak sandwich was cooked perfectly rare as asked & chips were coated in something rather nice! Even service was attentive & personal not robotic. £6.50 including a pint is a right steal.
Always good service. Good range of beers, though some craft ales wouldn't go amiss. Friendly staff. Good grub. Oh yeah and pretty good prices too, especially for a town centre pub. Kim

Service can be slow as it gets so busy but staff always have a smile on their faces. Food varied and good quality for pub. Plenty of gluten and dairy free options. Bubbly on tap and playground inside and outside. Overall a great place to eat especially for young families.
Excellent service. Food wonderfully cooked and prepared. If we lived locally would eat there often.

Beautiful garden, great staff and selection of beers. Thank you for letting me in with the birthday cake and organising plates and everything! Fish and chips was a very good choice - couldn't finish it! Keep it up!
The best pub in the world (not even joking). I’ve never been to a pub that’s better than this one. 10/10 food, staff, beer, ambience, attitude to dogs what more can I say

A lovely cottage with very comfortable accommodation for a small family. However it is let down by the immediate surrounding area which in general is in need of a good spruce up. Also, be warned there is no way of identifying this property from its name (I went up and down the road at least 5 times and spent a good hour looking for the 'Beach cottage' sign) instead you need the house number (which again isn't shown, but you can work it out from the neighbours if you find the house number in the booking information). Finally, another minor niggle, but the front of house photo shown on the listing on the rental site that I found when I searched for "beach house" (I tried looking in every way possible to find the 'cottage' in the end) anyway the photo on the listing shows another property entirely, that is at least 5 doors down the road and doesn't show the property at all! (the other internal shots for the listing were lovely and accurate to the property). Anyway, apart from this two niggles it is a lovely place to stay.

We had a lovely break with beautiful weather and attention to our needs by Carol and Steve was second to none! On arrival Carol made us very welcome and showed us around and to our room. It was spotless with all the added extras. Whilst unpacking she presented us with a welcome pot of tea after our long drive. Breakfast was lovely and cooked to order and set us both up for the day. Steve was on hand while Carol was in the kitchen. Being as they have just acquired The Camelot recently we would not have known as they seem to have each taken to their new venture superbly! We would highly recommend The Camelot to anyone wanting accommodation 5 mins walk to seafront and local shops!
Very accommodating and welcoming hosts. Room immaculate and position to the coast is minutes walk away. Cannot fault this B&B, reasonably priced and the room/service are excellent.

Got deal through lastminute to stay here and it was great for us. They were flexible about us arriving quite late. Room was very clean and comfortable and we had a delicious breakfast in the morning. Staff were very friendly and helpful, nice relaxed feel. Thanks very much!
A great place to stay! Lovely room, a great breakfast. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again.

Friendly, clean and ensure bathrooms throughout. Great breakfast. Steve
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

This is nice for holiday. Nice beach in summer. Good for dog walks and play park close by. Lovely in hot weather when the tide goes out and sand appears
A great cafe /restaurant, amazing skate park, excersize equipment and fun park, as well as a lovely beach!
